Theo Kotselas

Theo Kotselas is a Certified Practising Accountant and wealth management executive, specialising in wealth planning and management, asset protection, business valuations, financial strategy and accounting and taxation services. He is primarily engaged as a specialist to assist and advise business owners through their growth and exit journey.

In 1980, Theo founded Archangel Wealth, a North Sydney-based financial services firm built around 5 specialist divisions - accounting, business advisory, workplace solutions, financial planning and mortgage broking. Over more than 40 years, he grew the firm into a trusted adviser to businesses and families across Sydney, known for treating clients as an extension of the family. In 2024, Archangel Wealth merged with Modoras Group, a national financial services firm with offices across Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Sydney and Melbourne - where Theo continued as a Director until August 2026. In September 2026, he founded Roxbury Consultants, providing business advisory services.

A core part of Theo's value to Runway Partners' clients is his capability in entity and transaction structuring - work he regards as indispensable for any business on the growth and exit journey. Getting the structure right early is what allows a business to maximise enterprise value and minimise tax at the point of sale, rather than facing costly, time-pressured fixes once a transaction is already underway. Combined with more than 40 years of accounting, tax and wealth management experience, that structuring expertise means financial strategy, asset protection and tax outcomes are addressed from the outset, not scrambled together later.
